Some box truck accidents are caused by untrained drivers

Nearly anyone with a driver's license can rent a box truck from companies such as U-Haul, Budget and Penske. They are rented for a variety of reasons and can be a budget friendly way for Connecticut residents to transport items. However, drivers are not required to have any training in order to operate these trucks. This is most likely the primary reason why a number of box truck accidents occur.

There is no way to predict injuries in Connecticut car accidents

One person involved in a car accident can walk away with only minor injuries while another dies. There is no way to predict what injuries Connecticut residents involved in car accidents will suffer. Safety tests conducted on vehicles indicate that certain injuries can occur based on the type of crash and the position of the vehicle's occupants, but what happens in reality can be drastically different.

Many hit-and-run car accidents take months to solve

When a driver flees the scene of an accident in Connecticut, the family of the victim is denied justice, closure and answers to their questions regarding the last moments of the life of a loved one. In some cases, hit-and-run car accidents can take months for police to solve. Therefore, when a driver and the vehicle involved in such a tragedy are finally found, the victim's family may finally get some peace.

School bus vs. car accidents are a concern for parents

When Connecticut parents put their children on the school bus in the mornings, they trust that their children will get to school and back home safely. No one likes to think about school bus vs. car accidents, but the possibility may always be in the back of a parent's mind. Few things could be worse for a parent than receiving a call that their child was injured in such an accident.

Tired drivers are at risk for causing car accidents

Most Connecticut residents have driven while they were tired at one time or another. Drivers who are severely fatigued run the risk of falling asleep behind the wheel. Numerous car accidents occur each year due to drivers who are unable to stay awake while they drive.
